The Story So Far
Read all about the Kit and Kaboodal journey and how we made it to where we are today.
2013
The story began in 2013 when Helen and John started touring the country shows nationwide selling Made in Italy clothing.
2014
While Helen and John continued with country shows, Laura and Naomi set up an accompanying website from home.
2015
We finally received keys to our first dedicated offices in Ripon in April.
We soon outgrew our new home and had to extend further, taking on more and staff and running with
two show teams to cover additional shows.
2016
A year on and with substantial growth we commissioned work to begin on our
new purpose-built warehouse facility in Roecliffe, North Yorkshire.
2017
We moved in our new home in February 2017, giving us space to accommodate all new team members.
Soon after Google invited us to check out their offices in London!
We stepped up our game and developed a new, bigger website that we launched just in time for Christmas!
2018
The growth continued and we built a new warehouse to accommodate the stock, together with dedicated picking and distribution facilities, allowing us to convert Oak Tree House into a creative marketing hub and offices.
2018 brought even more growth with our in-house designer joining the ever expanding team. Together with Helen they work on expanding our collections!
2019
2019 saw a year of firsts for Kit and Kaboodal as we launched our first direct mail campaign and were shortlisted in three different awards.
We focused on ease of payments by partnering with Amazon Pay and Klarna.
Facebook invited us to their London head office to discuss strategy.
Back home we now host five photoshoots a week in our studio to keep up with our ever expanding collections.
2020
During a difficult year Kit and Kaboodal kept spirits up by providing people with stylish clothing, even when staying home!
Our team worked hard to keep everything running smoothly and our loyal customers supported us all the way through.
2021
The company continued to grow and exciting plans were put into place for 2022. The Kit and Kaboodal name could be spotted in national magazines and we sent our more look books that ever before.
It was the year to put it in print!
2022
A year of huge expansion for Kit and Kaboodal!
We moved in our new purpose built warehouse, office and studio space that is five times bigger than our previous HQ.
So much space for more ideas and company growth in the years ahead...
2023
After creating our purpose built space we managed to expand our marketing efforts. We had more location shoots and an ever expanding range of clothing and accessories.
